This course offers practical knowledge to familiarize users with operation and general maintenance of Shimadzu Advanced i-Series.
Learning Outcome
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
Understand of the principle & instrumentation of liquid chromatography
Perform proper system on and system off - Perform data acquisition via LabSolutions software
- Process data acquired both qualitatively and quantitatively using external and internal standard methods by LabSolutions software
- Advanced features of LabSolutions including peak purity analysis and method transfer between different systems and column dimensions
- Troubleshoot some of the commonly encounter issues in LC analysis
- Perform basic LC preventive maintenances

- An integrated or modular liquid chromatograph equipped with UV-Vis or photodiode array (PDA) detector
- Shim-pack C18 column with 50 mm length, 3.0 mm ID, 2.2 µm (P/N 228-41606-92) or equivalent
